Canon update! ...Again. Spoilers behind cut.
Letting everyone know in the comms that Korra is going to be off on canon update throughout the next three days. She'll be waking up on the Moon on Monday, Sept 8.
Korra's new point is post Book 3, which very recently finished, so I'm re-linking her spoiler opt-out post. I will always cut posts and mark them for spoilers, but avoiding them completely and still threading with Korra is going to be very difficult due to the nature of the canon update. I'm willing to accommodate as well as I can, but there is only so much I can do while keeping Korra IC. If this is an issue for anyone, please let me know!
[SPOILERS] Now, some details for her CR and fellow Spades-
During a fight with Lok-verse Terrorist #395, a large amount of mercury was bended directly into Korra's body. This, along with the long and trying fight that followed, has affected Korra both emotionally and physically. Mercury poisoning is very ugly. The short of it is that she's confined to a wheelchair and suffering from a very severe bout of depression. So it will be safe to note that upon returning, she won't look or sound like her old self at all.
