Helloooo, High Seas!

WELP, the first month of gameplay is coming to end, and you all have been AWESOME. Glad to see that everyone is getting the hang of the premise; we've got crews formed and islands being reached, storms being handled, ships falling apart...

GOOD TIMES.


♦ Now let's talk AC Requirements!!

Normally, right around now each month is when we would be reminding you all to post links to your activity on the Activity Check page. But maybe you've noticed Rule 11 over there:

11. New characters are exempt from the Activity Check for the first month.

Well, since we're a brand new game, obviously this time around that includes...everyone.

HOWEVER.

We still want you to comment on that page.

Several people have already, which is great! But basically we're going to treat this like a mock activity check. Leave your comments, and early next month we'll post with who wouldn't pass and all that. This is both so that we can make sure everyone understands how it's done, and also so that we can get an idea of how active we are.

So! Even though no one is going to get the boot this time around, PLEASE BE SURE TO GET YOUR AC LINKS POSTED.

♦ Apps open on Tuesday, and we've got a lot of good reserves so far! Don't expect any decisions until toward the end of the application round, similar to last time. We'll probably do them in bunches again.

♦ As we get new characters in, we'd just like to ask and remind people to be inviting to new players! Everyone has been amazing so far with helping others find a crew, and I guess we'll see if new characters mostly form crews amongst themselves or if they hop on the ships we already have. Either way, we want to continue making sure no one is left out! We really appreciate all your help with this. ♥

♦ Don't forget about the Island Registry! It's there for whenever you feel like submitting an island of your own design.

♦ All the reminders on our past mod post still apply. Character tags, marking posts with written, voice, or something similar, keeping the Player Contacts page updated, etc etc.

♦ app_this_plz goes live tomorrow. We'll get a post up over there, and we'll be including all your Wanted Characters this time!


And I think that's it! We still have the Suggestions post if there's anything you want to tell us, and next month we're going to throw up a Mod HMD so you can really tell us how you feel, and how you think we've been doing. XD

But first! October! There are fun times ahead and we have exciting things planned! After all, Halloween is just around the corner...
