September is going to be a very busy month for me. I have a ton of trips and rl things that need doing so I have put in a hiatus for the month.

I will still try to do my backtags so we can finish things up there but I probably won’t tag into anything new since I will be scarce. I may or may not be gone the whole month but I put that in just to play it safe. Haytham will be staying behind on Blackfisk Island to make sure the proper people get placed in power. No point in killing the old mayor if the new one will be just as bad.

Introducing:

Bounty Boxes

Some mysterious force connected with the Navy, known as the Collectors, have set up Bounty Boxes on the following islands:

Spice Island
Himmelen
Croodlezy Toodlelk
Corsair Kingdom
Gun Frontier


How this will work:

As a Bounty Hunter

Step 1: Catch Bounty and put in Bounty Box (which looks little like this).

Step 2: Make sure the prisoner is appropriately restrained. There will be black collars on chains bolted to the wall that will nullify powers.

Step 3: Leave for twenty-four hours.

Step 4: Return to take the bounty.

Step 5: Go have a party.

Note: Sometime after the 16th Hour, the Collectors will come to collect. The most you will see is black shapes if you see anything at all. You cannot kill the Collectors and any aggression or attack will have you met with a sudden and most unpleasant death.



As a Prisoner

Step 1: Get caught and end up in the Bounty Box.

Step 2: If unable to escape, get approached by the Collectors and lose consciousness mysteriously.

Step 3: End up in one of the Navy Prisons with security relative to the price of your bounty.

Step 4: Try to escape and/or wait for rescue.

Note: Bounty Boxes in and of themselves aren’t impossible to escape from. The Collecters, however, are. You will not be able to land a hit or stop yourself from losing consciousness. However, once you wake up in prison, your journal will be there.



As a Rescuer

Step 1: Try to get your rescuee out of the Bounty Box before the Collectors come.

Step 2: Try to find the prison they were sent to and bust them out. (How? Well that’s up to you. You can also handwave it if you like.)

Note: Again, attacking the Collectors will lead to a painful demise.



Special Side Note: The Collectors will also be available on islands for all your kidnapping needs! In other words, do you want your character out of the picture for a while? Do you want to have drama with having to find a Navy Prison? Your character can lose consciousness and be spirited away via Collector. Though in this case they will leave no bounty.

Hey guys! The characters under the cut still need to report their AC. Remember that per the rules on that page, your Activity Check requirements are due by the end of the day on the 3rd! Which means you've got until tomorrow night.

All game pages and character lists will be updated within the next few days. If you haven't commented on the AC page by tomorrow at midnight, aren't on hiatus, or haven't gotten in touch with a mod, your character will be purged!

From the 2nd until 11:59pm EST on the 10th, sign-ups will be available for a Mystery Event. What will this event be? …Well you can’t expect me to tell you.

Only a set amount of people will be randomly chosen for this first round. Those that are will get a private plurk (or PM if plurk is n/a) sometime on the 11th. If you don’t get pinged, you’ll have to try again at some other mist-erious time.

Those that are chosen will be informed of the details of their mist-fortune two days before the event itself takes place. In this case, on the 24th.

And if you're chosen and the mystery isn't your cuppa? Changing your mind is a-okay.
