September 26th-29th
On the wee hours of the 26th, a black mist will rise over the sides of the ships. It will seem harmless, even if it brushes against you, and for most people, it is. But certain others (who have already been contacted ooc) will be cocooned in darkness for up to ten minutes. You're welcome to notice this or not.
The next day, they may seem fine other than a slight shimmer that appears around them, like the illusion of heat off the asphalt on a summer day. It may be, too, they'll give you a blank stare as if they can't quite place you.
Touching or being touched by those affected will make your character lose a memory, too. (One memory per touch but an extended touch will still count as just one.)
On the evening of the 29th there will be a great sighing wind throughout the world, brushing away the affected characters shimmer and returning memories to those who've lost it.
You've survived this Mist-ery. But it may not be the last one.
