**Event Post**
Welcome to this month’s Event Post! We have a lot to go through, so let’s get started.
Shard Sighting!
A shard has been located in the south east in the middle of a kraken nest. How your character finds out is up to you, though the Dog will be mentioning it in Sunday’s post. If your crew wants to participate please sign up on this post. The deadline for this is the 16th. As to who gets the shard, the crew who comes closest to the mod decided number will have the dubious honor. How you get it and what other crews you have to fight is up to you.
For those who do sign up, the numbers will be taken on the 16th so you have time to decide. You can choose any number between 1-100 but only one number per crew.
Curse Mini-Event:
Zombie Flu~
Starting the 13th and lasting until the end of the month, there is a strange flu going around. Lasting anywhere from 24 to 48 hours, the flu leaves its victim gray faced, drooling, and with copious amounts of snot to be gotten rid of. Eating anything other than grains is not recommended. Good luck.
Halloween Event
Ghost Ships Off the Starboard Bow!
Starting the 23rd and leading up until the end of the month, the world will be blanketed in eternal night and fog shrouded seas. Ghost ships sail along this fog frequently and will board other ships when they find them and try to touch the crew.
Getting touched will turn your character into one of these four beings:
Vampire
Zombie
Werewolf
Mummy
There is also a fifth ghost which causes instant death.
Players will be able to choose what to turn into (or, of course, not to turn at all), though if a player can’t decide, there will be space for a mod to do a random roll.
A more detailed post about this event will be put up Friday the 18th.
