Hiatus

Heya folks, Ax here to let you know I'm taking a hiatus for November.

I'll be inactive because I'm moving to Japan on the 12th and I'm trying to get my ducks in a row. And once I land I'm going to need time to settle in and start my new job.

So, the Doctor will be essentially staying quiet and working for the month. If you need to get in touch with me/him, PM me and I'll see what we can do.

Much luck on moving! It's not the greatest thing to do, but if it's your first time here, it'll be VERY interesting!

I'll be staying a year, year and a half in Hiroshima Prefecture.

I've lived in Japan before for two years, and I've done similar moves to Korea.

Whereabouts be you?

Ah, then nothing will be much of a surprise to you, unless you've not been to Hiroshima before.

I'm working in Gunma, which is pretty much in the opposite direction of you! Are you studying here?

I'm working as well, actually. This'll probably be the last time I do it, but I've been an ESL teacher since I graduated college.

This is my second time, too, but I'm not sure how long I'll stay. I've been here for 5 years before, and with the olympics coming here, I hope to volunteer as an interpreter or something!

I would've stayed before, but the place I was in did away with their ALT program after I was there for 2 years. And honestly, rural Niigata was kind of rough with all the snow.

That's unfortunate! Well, you won't have to worry much about snow in Hiroshima, I think?

Small amounts are fine. 5 meters was a bit much.

I've experience far more than that, I think. I would have liked all that snow >.> with the proper footgear.
