Hey, guys!

This is Dan, the guy who brings you such glorious characters named 'Dave' and 'Ace'. You can just smell the 80s karate villain off of them both. Anyway, since the Navy is camped out on Isla Empieza and hindering the pirate spirit, people are going to be put out and in danger the second they arrive in game!

Ace and his crew are going to try and derail this entirely. Basically, they're going to launch an attack on the Navy and try to drive them out.

We'd like to see if any other crews would like to team up to fight the Navy! They can either come across the Spade Pirates and be implored upon to help in the fight or at least try and rally up other pirate crews to do so! Ace is going to be looking to unite some NPC pirates for this whole thing.

SO, WHO WANTS IN?

Edit: As for logs, there would be one recruiting post sea to THE SEA and one set for Isla Empieza for the actual revolt!

We were trying to figure out an excuse for the Alcyone crew to go back to the island and help. If there was a public post about this, we'd probably chime in.

No one on the crew here has yet opposed to helping the newbies when they arrive, and Marvelous would assuredly be wanting to both bust up their operations and help the forthcoming new arrivals.

Dirk wants nothing to do with that bullshit, but knows he has to go back to the island to check if any of his friends show up. So he'll be taking members of his crew back to the island to help, if he can use someone's Nav because like hell he's taking his ship there, it's not built for battle so he'll be leaving the Sinewave at Port Chance for an easy getaway.

So. Count Dirk and half his crew in, if they can arrive on someone else's ship to get there.

You should remember that if you use your ship's nav to get somewhere, you won't be able to get back for another week because it needs to recharge!

That would only use up the nav on the ship you left from. I think the clarification is in the FAQ comments somewhere. And Backwater brig has a super nav.

Yes, it would use the nav on the ship you left from, but you can't get back to your own ship because the Nav has been used. The Backwater Brig can send you back, but if your Nav is down for the week, you'll need to be sent back to another ship!

That doesn't make sence because the idea is for quick visits.

If you use the Nav on your own ship to another ship docked at Isla Empieza, then your ship's Nav is down for a week to recharge. If you use the Nav at Backwaters to get back to your own ship, even after a short visit, you have to wait for your ship's Nav to recharge first. It says so in the FAQs:

"To clarify, the Nav is drained when it is used to SEND people to another ship. Receiving visitors doesn't use up any energy. So when your character can return to their own ship will depend on when the receiving ship last used their Nav. Maybe they haven't used it recently and you can return right away! Or maybe they just used it yesterday, so you have to wait six days."
