Hi, my name's Arai, and I'm bringing in Magoichi Saika from Sengoku Basara. She's the leader of the proud Saika Faction, and her personality is pretty much what you'd expect of a mercenary. She's an old friend of Motochika's, had her last contract with Ieyasu, and was supposed to fight Mitsunari until some priest jerk resurrected Nobunaga and she had to kill him again in order to avenge her mentor and stop the world from being set on fire. Incidentally, she's not too keen on the Oda, the Akechi, or anyone associated with them. She's also probably the most egregious example of the series' attitude on historical accuracy, given that all three of the actual Magoichis were men, and her arsenal includes, among other things, a missile launcher.

That said, hello, hello! I'm Shanin and I obviously play this sunny guy who goes by Ieyasu! And I'm excited to have Magoichi around (because it means keeping Motochika in line). But definitely nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you, Shanin. Yes, I imagine that her job will be half that and half keeping Mitsunari from destroying the boat in his attempts to kill you. But who knows, maybe she'll be able to work keeping the boat running in there.

If anyone can stop Sekigahara part 2 from happening on the ship, it's probably Magoichi! And Motochika, because we all know he'll jump in to stop it too. But yes, gotta keep Mitsunari from any and all kill attempts because no one wants that.

Oh god, that ending. The only one I can never take seriously ever again. "HERE HAVE EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN-yeah, never mind." And it's all due to ~~those tears of blood~~ Mitsunari's manscara running.

I was genuinely shocked when my sister correctly identified them the first time she watched it ~~at least until I found out it was because of her frivolous vampire plays~~. I needed the internet to correct me. :|

But hopefully it won’t turn into a "hey, get up, let me kill you again", "okay, fine :|" situation.

Yeah, when I first saw that ending (since I originally played through Mitsunari's first), I was like "MITSUNARI, YOUR MASCARA'S RUNNING!!" And then I learned, it was tears of blood. And yeah. Still all "what" about that.

But hopefully not. There's only so many times a guy's willing to get killed...even if Ieyasu is unwilling to do that.

I guess it's because blood has to be censored for ratings and black is the color traditionally used for that sort of thing, but still...

Plus, I think even Mitsunari would get bored of it eventually. There's only so many times you can kill a guy before you start wondering if it's worth it to keep killing him. But I think we're all competent enough to keep it happening. There's only so much he can do when it's three against one.

Hi, Von. Ah, yes, I'm quite familiar with SW3's bakappuru soulmates. I'm not quite sure how she'll handle a Mitsuhide that's pretty much the exact opposite of basara!Mitsuhide yet, but taking issue is pretty likely, so yeah. Fun.

Welcome to the game! I'm Belmont and I play this guy, Adol Christin from the Ys series. Adol is one of the more saner individuals on Motochika's ship so he'll probably try to make friends with your character.
