March 19th-25th

The Dog has it right, outworlders are under attack from the combined forces of Joscham "the Crooked" Morten and Maddie the Butcher. After scouring the wreckage of a ship that once belonged to an outworlder crew and finding some decent loot for their trouble, it's clear who they want to target next. They'll come at you land or sea, ready to divest you of shards, real or suspected. Will they be able to take them? Well, that's up to you.


How It Works
This event will go much like the Kraken Attack. A log will open up on the 19th and you will have until 11:59PM (EST) on Wednesday, March 25th to do the following.

♦ Crews with 5 people or less must have a minimum of 30 comments.
♦ Crews with 6 people or more must have a minimum of 35 comments.

Prizes available will be one of two shards or a demon's egg which gives the user a titanic amount of strength once a day for an hour.

For those who reach the required comments, winners will be decided by RNG.

**Important note: though the log will be available from March 19th-25th, for IC purposes this ambush will be happening all across the seas on Tuesday, March 24th.

Like Chris, I'm here because of Cap. 

Name's Ty, and I'll be bringing Sting from Fairy Tail into your lovely game. Sting will be the worst pirate ever because of his motion sickness. So he's going to have a lot fun. 

As for me, you can follow my inane babbling at knightpunk  where I will be inane and not really do much. 

I'm a little rusty when it comes to RPing, and this is my first real time not playing a Suikoden character, so this should be fun! 

March 13th-14th

You know it's going to be a bad Friday when the clouds look a particular shade of dark green in the early morning hours on the 13th. Around 11am, following a dramatic rumble of thunder, the rain will start in a drizzle before it comes hammering down around noon, along with accompanying high winds and frothing seas.

The main part of the storm will carry on the rest of the 13th into midafternoon on the 14th when the seas will calm, though the rain will keep on pouring, tapering off about midnight of the 14th.

Did we mention the rain was going to be green?

Those brave enough to step outside and taste this peculiar rain will find it's actually a nice mint liquor, on the sweet side, with the effects of the same. In other words, too much and you, much like your ship, will be a little tipsy.

Additionally, on both days, those who are not wearing green in some form will get pinched by what feels like tiny invisible hands. There must be someone attached to said hands because swatting at the right moment will produce an 'ouch', but they otherwise can't be heard. These pinchy fiends will scatter to the winds when the rain does.

Hello folks. I'm Chris and I'm joining your game with my favorite Sindar Explorer Lorelai. I'm going to be honest and say I'm relatively new to RP and this seemed like the perfect kind of game to get my feet wet *snicker* after having played with CapsulCorp before this in a game. What's a good new place to play with that game gone? Well exploration is fun and hey, you can totally explore on boats with friends and their friends so that's kind of rad an whatnot.

I make comics and do science for a living and most of the time dork out about dumb stuff with comics and games and professional wrestling and pretty much constantly talk about Suikoden because it's sort of my jam. I've been in this game since it opened, and it's been a lot of fun! But lately I haven't really felt up to...doing things at all with either of my guys, so I'm letting Vyse go back to his airships and Tohru's going back home to eventually be a really terrible vampire.

For those of you who weren't around last year, or who haven't interacted with him before, Dave is basically everything you'd come to expect of a hollywood celebrity. That's right, he's a star, baby! And as such he is cocky, vain, and kind of a douche. He's not an actor though, he's a famous director. That means he thinks he thinks he's more competent and less vain than other celebrities, even though he really isn't.

He's probably gonna be hanging off Grell's coattails for the most part, because he thinks she's the best thing since bread and butter. Drop him a line if you want. Just don't be surprised if he talks your ear off. This insufferable prick loves to hear the sound of his own voice. It's fucking melodious, okay? And kind of soothing.

Hi hello oh gosh

I'm Lepo and you guys are my first game in an eon so I'm pretty hyped! With me, I'm bringing in Captain James Hook from Peter Pan! He's based on the Disney version in particular, but I do play him with history from Peter and The Starcatchers (Disney-sanctioned prequel novels) and a bit of inspiration from the J.M. Barrie when appropriate.

Most of the relevant information will be provided on the Log Post next week! However, there are one or two things to plan for:



A dance for all you lovey dovey couples, or those just hoping to get a date, on the night of the 14th. There will be music, food, punch (unspiked), and a portrait painter. More schmaltz than a high school prom, and just as much heart.




Like a haunted house of love, two people must work together to compete against other pairs for some great prizes.

Who gets to decide who wins or loses? Why, you guys, of course!

Seven judges will be selected out of those who sign up below. The only catch is, you can't be a judge and a participant. One will have to give.

Contestants should sign up as well in the appropriate thread. Only one needs to post, but they should list their partner.

Sign-ups are open now and close at 11:59PM (EST) on the 10th.


There might also be some sweets to be found along the way... If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the FAQ thread!

Unfortunately it seems that killing Hawtrey first creates an even bigger problem. He was the avatar for Davy Jones, and now that Jones is free, well, he's here to take your shards for himself. There's a reason he wants them, after all.

Shard holders beware, if you see the green miasmic form of Jones coming for you and demanding the shard, you have two choices. You can throw it away and be saved or try to keep the shard and be killed.

Once the shards are gone, he might start coming after everyone else. So you better get those shrines taken care of as the nightmares rise in pitch.

Weirdly, throughout this, those who hold the shard of the Cat don't seem to be in danger from Jones. How strange...

How close do I have to be for the shards to work?
Very close. Either holding them or bumping elbows with the ones that are. It's not the best solution but it's the best one right now.

Who gets to break the altar/strike the killing blow?
That you can work out amongst yourselves. Should there be a disagreement, however, we'll be happy to step in.

What kind of nightmares are there?
Nightmares can run the range of something scary to your character, or to hellish creatures that are generally frightening to most people.

Hey everyone!

As you can see, there's been a delay with the event. Sorry about that!

However, we're at an interesting position with the vote as to Hawtrey's fate. We've got a tie, so we're opening the voting again on this post.

Voting will last until 11:59 PM (EST) on January 22nd.

So that's just over a day!

As before, characters are free to pursue either course of action, no matter what the vote is. However, depending on which course is chosen, there are different end results, so it does matter which way the vote falls.

If we still have a tie come midnight tomorrow, the mods will flip a coin.

So everyone vote!

Important: If you have already voted and wish to change your vote, you may do so on this post. If you choose not to change, we will count the vote that you originally cast on the previous post.



Objective: Prevent the Corpse King from reviving Davy Jones and giving him a physical body.
Option A: The direct approach. Seek out the Corpse King on Noctem and engage him in a fight to the death.
Notes: This will be a brutal battle, and Hawtrey will have more than just his natural skill to protect him. There is definitely magic afoot.
Option B: The indirect approach. Find the four shrines on Noctem and desecrate them before the ritual can be completed.
Notes: The shrines are protected by wards. Different ones will require different solutions.
