On the evening of August 20th, a dark mist will start to skim over the ocean. By midnight it will be a sea of black and by 2am, the mist will wash over decks with cold, snake like tendrils, seeming to wrap around ankles and legs and leaving a feeling of uncertainty behind. Whether you are on deck or in a room, it makes no difference.

The morning after, some people may find themselves seeing the world from a different perspective-- and, in fact, a brand new body! Too bad it belongs to someone else. Let the awkwardness ensue.

On the 25th you'll find yourself back to normal as if it never happened.

In other words, have yourselves a body switch curse.

Do I get to choose who I body swap with?
Sure do!


Do I have to sign up for anything?
Nope. Signing up is only for the people who want a random choice made for them on who to switch with.

That being said, sign ups will begin now and end on the 17th at 11:59pm EST.


Will I inherit/be able to use other character's powers/abilities? What about my own?
That's something for you to decide with the other player.

Who would like to be an Avatar? He's got fire, air, water, and earth powers, is pretty dang physically fit, and has an awesome goatee.

He's also a Hazmat, so his crew consists of Ninja Turtles, Dragons, Vikings, Mermaids, Pokemon + Pokemon Trainer, and a legit pirate captain who will welcome you with bells on. literally. The captain wears bells.

I have five kids. I don't know if all of them are going to join in but I will offer them all to see what might interest someone! Looking for the best dramatic changes for you or or me or better yet, both of us!

Logan = Big guy, weights an excessive amount, has claws that if you can't control your movements might pop out. Can heal though so if you hurt yourself it fixed! Male or Female swap okay.

Bepo = IS A BEAR! Who wants to be a kung-fu bear!? Big, fussy, deep voice, adorable! Great at swimming and cold. Hates heat! A female would freak Bepo out because what do, but male or female okay!

Liz = This one might actually be a huge problem for someone. Her fires are connected to emotions and are made mentally. Fire doesn't hurt but feels good. An emotional character might have a hell of a time and will start fires a lot. If they lose control they could explode the area around them. Male or female okay.

Haruta = Not sure on this one. She's pretty normal. Has Haki but that might not be usable if you don't know how. Strong. I would crack up if she switches with a guy however.

Ariel = FISH TAIL! Legs would be awesome. She'd want to dance with anyone. Male or female okay. Enjoy your under water ability to breath!

Okay, I've got three characters here. Not sure I'm going to swap 'em all, but they are here for consideration!

Kyouya is an 18-year-old male. Fairly scrawny, though he's put on muscle over the year he's spent here. Open to any sort of swap with him.

Alex is a 19-year-old female. She's lean, but she's got some muscle to her. Mostly, though, she's got her vampyricism. During non-daylight hours, she has exaggerated senses, heightened strength, an inability to swim, and she craves blood.

Rogue is a 17-year-old female. Gymnast and martial arts trained, so she's got a fair amount of muscle weight to her. She totally covers up and wears gloves because if she touches anyone's bare skin with hers, well, bad things happen. (Powers, abilities, memories, and energy get zapped, but hey.)

I play all teenagers. It's weird. This has never happened before.

Anyone feel like switching with Anna?

Kiiind of hoping for something more exciting than just, you know, switching with another ordinary powerless person because that's what Anna is used to. Hoping for her to be given some powers that she'll have to learn to control while she's switched, I think that would be good for her to have to do.

And if you'd rather use a PB for whatever reason when they're switched, a good one I've found for her is Rike Kloster. You can see her face at enthusiastics.

ETA: Anna's going to be switching with Rogue! She probably won't be aware of her power, so any Straw Hats who are willing to get hurt/be down for the count for a bit by accident, let me know? It will be angsty for Anna of course, but definitely a good way to help her better empathize with Elsa's fear of hurting the people she loves. And just in general to understand people who have potentially dangerous powers.

SO the body swapping thing means they'll be wherever the other person was, and I wasn't aware of that. So ignore that part regarding the crew. Anna will be wherever Rogue was on the 20th.

if anyone is interested in body swapping with a 16 year old fragile heiress, renge's your girl! she doesn't have any particular powers (unless you want to count the ability to see bishounen sparkles and potential in everyone), but i would love to switch her with someone that DOES have powers, or is different build-wise from her.

this being said, i'm open to anyone at all!-- even if they are basically the same regarding power, body type, and gender. any switcharoo would confuse her!!

Who wants to be...a relatively normal (if slightly short-statured) young man? His only real special abilities are summoning pirate ghosts and being very physically fit.

He comes with a face telescope, though.

I have three people who don't have possible plants yet:

Finnian: Super strong human who you would think would be strong considering he isn't all that muscley. Also has a tattoo on his neck and comes with a funky pet chicken names Ciel...because he thinks it's a boy it's not

Musa: Fairy of Music, whose power when fighting is all about soundwaves usually. But other than that has the power to do most anything. She is also ridiculously skinny, thanks to the way she is drawn.

Fuu: Magic Knight with cool armour and a LAS (Long Assed Sword) who has wind abilities such as attack defence and healing. She is also only fourteen and sadly it would mean you being on a ship by yourself, so it probably isn't an option for most people.
