On the evening of August 20th, a dark mist will start to skim over the ocean. By midnight it will be a sea of black and by 2am, the mist will wash over decks with cold, snake like tendrils, seeming to wrap around ankles and legs and leaving a feeling of uncertainty behind. Whether you are on deck or in a room, it makes no difference.

The morning after, some people may find themselves seeing the world from a different perspective-- and, in fact, a brand new body! Too bad it belongs to someone else. Let the awkwardness ensue.

On the 25th you'll find yourself back to normal as if it never happened.

In other words, have yourselves a body switch curse.

Do I get to choose who I body swap with?
Sure do!


Do I have to sign up for anything?
Nope. Signing up is only for the people who want a random choice made for them on who to switch with.

That being said, sign ups will begin now and end on the 17th at 11:59pm EST.


Will I inherit/be able to use other character's powers/abilities? What about my own?
That's something for you to decide with the other player.

lol, alright cool. Yasaburo's new to the game and doesn't have a crew yet right? I'm guessing he's on Ilsa Empieza. Thash will probabably try to use Blackwater Brig's nav to get to the Gilded Rose while in Yasaburo's body just fyi. And he'll probably yell at him to stop being a body snatcher until he figures out there's nothing either of them can do about it XD

No, he's entirely unfamiliar with it. The world he comes from has different cultures, but none that resemble Japan closely enough to share its specific legends
