While you guys probably got your fill of tooting your own horns, something a little quieter is coming your way. You'll barely hear the shards this time, though they will wink softly in and out throughout the day. There are faint almost inaudible whispers when they are glowing.

Throughout the day, and in various places around the ship, usually tucked away where you keep the things most valuable, you will find one of four mechanical birds. They don't seem like much, but hold them up to your ear and it will begin to sing, a soft sweet tone, then when the song winds down, will whisper something in the voice of someone you care deeply about. Usually it's someone who has died and you no longer see, or it is someone who has gone home or to a place you cannot follow. Who it is and what they say is entirely up to you.

However, these birds won't 'sing' forever. Within the end of the twelve day period, they will grow silent and slowly begin to rust.
