Don't have a cow, the 9th Day O' Booty is upon you! The shards seem almost tired and there's a little flicker of light in the very early morning. A few seconds later, gorgeous dresses of various sizes and styles will appear on the ship, even (if you so choose) on your person! The dresses are nice to look at and wonderful to wear -- most hung with bells in some fashion.

Wearing the dress will make it seem like the Holiday Spirit has sucker punched you in the gut. You'll feel inordinately cheerful and want to sing and, of course, dance! Should you take off the dress, you'll return to your usual state of mid-Holiday surliness. Otherwise, you'll be cheerful as long as you wear it. While the dresses will remain past the season, the effect of cheer will not, so it's best to get your holly jollies in before the 26th.
