**Event Post**
Hey guys! Lots of stuff coming up for December. Take your pick of where to dive in or you can toss your characters in the mix for everything!
November 24th - 30th: Don't forget about the Blessing Event! Those crazy turkeys and cornucopiasof love should be popping up on your ships any day now, if they haven't already.
December 8th...ish: We're going to try to get all app decisions out right away next month, which means we're going to have newbies arriving at Isla Empieza soon! And as you may recall, it's currently on lockdown. Thank you, Sasuke!
IPSO FACTO, there's going to be a lot of new characters dropped smack into the middle of a bunch of Naval officers and they might need some help!
Similar to how we had the Opening Game Log, we're going to have another intro log for next month's apps, only it's going to be a big ol' Pirates vs. Navy battle! Of course, we don't want to just throw it at new characters, so everyone is invited to join in.
But how would your characters know about it???
Well, with a bit of handwaving and logic, really. Many characters have noticed or figured out by now that there seems to be an onslaught of new people each month, and I think most everyone is aware of the Navy taking over Isla Empieza.
Ergo...they would probably be able to think ahead and realize the poor new clueless people are going to need backup.
It's also a REALLY good opportunity to grab some new crew members!
So look for that log after app decisions go out! And feel free to have your characters making their way back to Isla Empieza soon. We'll share more details on this as we figure them out, and if you have any suggestions feel free to let us know. Right now, we're trying to work out how much of the fighting to let you guys come up with yourselves via NPC'd Navy guys, etc...and whether or not we want to throw a few of our own Naval officers your way. ;D
December 15th - 21st: COLD CURSE. More details on this to follow, but basically you can expect temperatures to be dropping across the world and your characters are going to find it nearly impossible to warm up again -- regardless of whether they're practically made of fire or not. Oddly enough, it seems the only way to get rid of the chill is through contact with another character...
Even later in December: We're going to have another Shard Event toward the end of the month! And we're going to go about it differently this time. More details on that when we're closer to the date!
Annnd that's all for now! Event specific posts will follow when appropriate, and there might even be something fun for Christmas, as well~
