The early morning hours of December 15th will find temperatures dropping all around the world. Soft snow starts falling and a cold wind blows across the water. There's a chill in the air, one that seems to seep straight through to your bones. But you'll find that warming up again won't be as simple as sitting in front of a blazing fire.

In fact, getting warm again seems to be almost impossible -- on your own.

Contact with another character is the only thing that's going to help you this time. And of course, the more contact there is, the warmer you're likely to be...

The curse will run from December 15th - December 21st.

♦ The temperature drop is a worldwide event! But if you don't want to participate in the curse and force your character to, ahem, cuddle with anyone, then you certainly don't have to. They'll just be cold, which is fine.

♦ Because there's no warming up through the usual means this time. Hot baths, fires, blankets, you'll find these won't help much.

♦ The more contact you have with another character, the warmer yours will be!

♦ Any type of contact is fine! Sitting next to each other, holding hands, cuddling...and more. If you're going to log stuff out, just be sure to post warnings accordingly, yeah?

♦ It should probably be noted, though, that if you try to cuddle with the same person for the entire week, then the cold might start seeping back in. It can never be easy, can it?

Just out of curiosity, what if your character has no body heat? Loki here is naturally immune to cold temperatures because he is a frost giant. Would the cold even affect him if I didn't have him do the whole cuddling thing?

He would still notice that the temperatures have dropped significantly and might be confused as to why he's suddenly chilly when he's normally immune. But you don't have to go overboard with it or anything if you'd prefer not to!

I have been super busy with the holidays and am just getting to this, but uh, quick question.

So long as Rider discorporates herself and is an intangible spirit, she wouldn't be cold, right? Since she wouldn't have a body.

She'd be cold when she was tangible and had a body, of course.
